Property Recruitment specialist, Joshua Robert announces new partnership with Recruitment Entrepreneur (RE)
Josh Powell, Founder and CEO of Joshua Robert has entered a new and exciting partnership with RE, backed by James Caan CBE. After starting his business in 2018, Josh has decided now is the right time to take his business to the next level.
Leaving school at 16, Josh began his professional journey in the accounts department of a recruitment agency. Realising his passion for people and property, he transitioned to managing industrial roles and was promoted to branch manager by the time he was 20. This was followed by a significant stint at Hays, where he became the youngest director in the business at 25.
His enthusiasm for the industry led him to establish his own property recruitment company, Joshua Robert, based in the Midlands, placing candidates in the UK and US. The business has been operating for six years and has achieved £5m in revenues.
When asked what he thinks made Joshua Robert successful, Josh said, “We have significant reach and access to exclusive talent which aren’t accessible to our more generalist competitors. This also means we are specialists in filling niche roles in areas such as strategic asset management, building, or rural surveying”.
Josh's vision is to become the undisputed market leader in creating real estate and property opportunities internationally covering roles such as chartered surveyors, facilities managers, and social housing specialists. To achieve this, he’s partnered with Recruitment Entrepreneur, recognising the need for better systems, funding, and highly experienced individuals to realise his strategy.
Josh recognised the advantages of partnering with RE due to their track record of growing businesses from startups to 8-figure exits. Having admired James Caan CBE since his days on Dragon's Den, his decision to partner with RE was influenced by the desire to bring the best in the business on board.
