Stanford Search is a recently launched boutique executive search firm founded by Jake Tapsell in partnership with Recruitment Entrepreneur working on front office positions across private equity, investment banking and broader alternative investments. On the recent acquisition, Chairman of Recruitment Entrepreneur, James Caan CBE commented, “We’re looking forward to working with someone as dedicated and accomplished as Jake. Jake’s experience includes formerly being director of a boutique search firm focused on similar market verticals and as such has allowed him to build a robust, loyal network amongst reputable boutiques, mid-sized entities and the larger industry figures. Jake encouraged his team to diversify their geographic remit with great success and fostered valuable international relationships as a result. At Stanford Search, he intends to capitalise on the current global surge in activity within private equity and corporate finance markets to encourage ‘a recruitment without borders’ approach.
Present opportunities within investment and M&A are vast and as a result Jake has been fortunate to partner with innovative, high growth investment vehicles, as well as leading elite investment banks which have worked on several of the most notable transactions in recent years. In the evolving investment landscape it’s extremely helpful to be able to partner with clients and educate them on strategically identifying talent, which increasingly comes from fields previously overlooked.
