After 12 successful years in the recruitment industry, James Parker joins his brother, David Parker to help bring a fresh approach to drive growth and deliver unparalleled recruitment solutions.
James, with an unconventional path to recruitment, began his career by completing his plumbing apprenticeship, conquering the challenges of construction sites, and contributing to London's iconic skyline. Inspired by the achievements of his brothers, David, and Michael, who flourished in the IT recruitment industry, James embarked on a transformative journey into the world of talent acquisition.
Having spent over 11 years at Networkers, initially within the Financial Markets team, James honed his skills in securing top software engineering professionals for industry giants such as JPMorgan, HSBC, Nomura, Nasdaq, and Rabobank. Later, he co-founded the AI and Data team, it was during this time, he actively participated in ground-breaking projects spanning Autonomous Driving, AI Drug Discovery, and Quantitative Trading.
James recounts, "Witnessing the AI industry transition from an emphasis on the research and development of prototype models to the deployment of models into production and the eventual monetisation of numerous AI systems was truly remarkable."
Recognising the immense potential of machine learning models in business, James later assumed the role of Senior Talent Partner in MLOPs start-up, Seldon, leveraging his expertise to source exceptional talent during their rise from Series A to Series B investment rounds.
